- The story is very enjoyable, with a lot of variety in levels: jungle level, river level, ice levels, castle levels, ruins levels, etc.
- Each level features 3 swap challenges ranging from very easy to extremely difficult, where you can win hats or bonus missions.
- Many of the elemental gates are dual-element gates, allowing you to enter entirely new elemental areas.
- The levels are very large and often have checkpoints, so you don't have to replay the whole level from the beginning.
-
Skylanders Giants Figures are quite important in this game for lifting stones and opening Giant chests.
- In total, you can create 256 swap force combinations.
- There are many boss battles in Skylanders Swap Force.
- You can choose from different levels, and the difficulty level is genuinely challenging, so the indications are accurate.
CONS:
- You need a figure of each element and a separate swap force ability (spin, climb, dig, rocket, slow down, teleport, jump, and sneak).
- You can't skip the interactions with NPC characters (just from the story mode itself), so sometimes you have to wait for about 5 minutes.
- The tops of the figures are very diverse, which is nice. However, the bottoms of figures with the same swap ability are almost the same for some characters, which is a shame.
In the end, I still give the game a 9, because you can create swap combinations yourself from mediocre to incredibly strong. And because the story is just really fun to play and especially very challenging, even for someone who is 16. ;-)
