Requires a lot of strategic thinking It's a detailed samurai game. The goal of the game is to complete missions without certain teammates dying. Because the playing fields are quite large and the characters you need to protect are spread out, Samurai Warriors 3 is great to play. It requires a lot of strategic thinking, and enjoyable aspects include collecting weapons and fighting from horseback. Unfortunately, the Wifi aspect of the game is less exciting. Only for experienced gamers! Cijfer:
8,5Not too complicated, but certainly not too simple Samurai Warriors is a game like many others: a typical hack & slash game, revolving around the simple basic principle of almost every war game: beating enemy leaders into oblivion, causing opponents to flee, and allowing your own army to claim victory. Meanwhile, your own leaders must be protected at all costs because waging war without leaders can be quite challenging...
At first glance, this game may seem to lack originality, and you might not expect much from Samurai Warriors 3. However, it is a real gem: the graphics and soundtrack are great, the storylines are well-developed and numerous, and the designers have done a great job in creating unique characters: each character has their own weapon, fighting style, and perspective on the concept of "war," keeping the gameplay interesting and varied for a long time. Read more...Add to this the fact that the game offers plenty of gameplay options: on one hand, there is the Story Mode, with no less than 35 storylines. Then there are the Historical Mode and Free Mode, allowing the player to revisit the "big picture" of the stories, and finally, there is Murasame Castle, a completely unique game mode never before released outside of Japan. Conclusion: not an extremely original or extraordinary game, but definitely a game worth playing that will continue to captivate for a long time. Hide. Cijfer:

Fighting has never been this much fun Let me introduce you to the world of history, action, and fighting at the highest level!!! Samurai Heroes 3 is an amazing game for the Wii. Smacking little guys around and completing missions is delightful. You'll be pretty pissed off if you're not on time to help one of your fellow warriors, resulting in their murder and the battle being lost. Samurai Warriors is definitely not easy. In one level, you'll be happily smacking guys around, while in another level, you'll be frustrated pressing your buttons because that one guy just won't die! And then there's the 2 player mode. It's great to work together with your friends, family, or colleagues to slaughter everyone who crosses your path! I've spent many hours playing with my brother, killing all the little guys. Various battle cries can be heard from our couch, causing our mother to walk in and think, are these my children? xD. In summary, Samurai Warriors 3 is a great game to play alone or with a partner. You won't get bored quickly. Especially because there are so many little guys to play story mode with and lots of extras to keep you busy for a loooooong time. So, this game gets an 8 from me! Explanation of this score: good gameplay, lots of weapon and character variety, good story. Downside> graphics are not always optimal. It's not annoying because you don't really notice it. But when you compare this game to Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes (see my other review), I have to give this game a lower score based on the graphics. Apart from that, Samurai Warriors 3 and Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes are evenly matched. Cijfer:

Great game from KOEI Samurai Warriors 3 is an action game. In this game, you play as a samurai where you have to fight against other soldiers and samurais. At each level, you can choose from many samurais to play with. Each samurai has their own specialties with their weapons. Furthermore, you can ride a horse as a samurai and fight.
After playing a few levels, you'll get a sense of what it was like during a war between samurais & soldiers. The game also has an online mode where you can play together with a friend.

Pros: Various samurais & online mode
Cons: After playing many levels, it starts to get boring (often similar missions, like destroying other opponents, saving a samurai, etc.) Hide. Cijfer:

3 tips: 3 SecretsSecrets: How can the ultimate weapons in Samurai Warriors 3 be obtained? Each character in Samurai Warriors 3 has three different "versions" of their unique weapon: a speed version (which lacks attack power but often enhances many special abilities), a normal version, and a power version.
