This game has a very childish look, which probably means fewer people will buy PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure. The box also doesn't really stand out, Pikachu again! But actually, there are a few fun elements in this game. There are plenty of mini-games that you can enjoy. For example, you can surf with Empoleon or fly with Pelipper! They also introduce a whole new combat system here. Instead of giving commands to your Pokémon, you now have to control Pikachu yourself. This works well, although it's still a bit basic. Fun game, but not very extensive
PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure is a fairly enjoyable game, but it's not very remarkable. Walking around the park is fun, but there aren't many areas to explore. The addition of 'Real-time' battles is nice, but you only have 3 attacks. The mini-games are entertaining, but they can only be played by one person. For every positive aspect of the game, there seems to be a negative one. This game is really great and much better than pokepark 2.
In this game, you play as Pikachu, but in minigames, you can be the Pokémon that you are friends with. There are many different areas with a lot of different Pokémon. In order to get your friends back, who you lost when you fell through a black hole into the world of PokéPark, you have to play minigames against bosses.
Read more...Along the way, you have to make friends that you can use in the minigames as I explained. You don't always just get a friend, you have to play a game first like: tag, hide and seek, or jumping over obstacles. All very enjoyable, so just buy this game! Pokemon keeps shining!
I always used to like Pokemon only when it was in 2D and on the Game Boy. But for a change, I decided to just buy a Pokemon game for the Wii, and PokePark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure turned out to be fun! The mini-games you can play with some Pokemon are quite funny, and there's quite a bit of challenge in befriending all the Pokemon in this game!
