Fun game, charming design
Really fun game. Although the game is simple, it takes some getting used to Ivy's continuous running. I find the story of the game well put together and the design is really good. It reminds me of an old storybook that you just can't put down. Ivy herself is indeed an adorable 'chick'. The ways to protect Ivy are very diverse and playing with multiple players is definitely a plus. It's a shame that the Wii game has fewer levels than the Ivy the Kiwi? Nintendo DS version, but this one is a must-play as well.

Nice atmosphere created by visuals and sound.
The kiwi is a shy nocturnal bird and only lives in New Zealand! They are so proud of it that it's their national symbol.
But well; the kiwi can run very fast but not fly. This is important in this game. The adventures seem somewhat similar to Super Mario. Ivy the Kiwi? needs vines that are simply pulled with the Wii Remote. With those vines, you can make Ivy do fun tricks. It's really fun, for example, to use a vine as a catapult. Hilarious!
The levels follow each other rapidly and become more complex, so good concentration is required!
The setting resembles a charming picture book, the music and sounds are slightly surreal, alternating with fairground-like music!

Not bad, but better on the DS
This game seems like a combination of Lemmings and Kirby: Canvas Curse: while the character Ivy automatically and constantly keeps moving, it's your task to protect her and guide her past obstacles. The only "weapon" you have are vines (up to three at a time), which you can draw with the Wii remote.

The game isn't very original, but that doesn't spoil the fun: it's a simple game that's easy to pick up, yet the varied difficulty in the levels will keep many players engaged. However, the Wiiware version only has 50 levels, whereas the DS version offers a whopping 100 levels, so perhaps the latter (also due to better control with the stylus) is a bit more worthwhile.
